What’s really important to us — cashing tickets!  ON Friday’s, on Race Day Las Vegas (KSHP on WARP RADIO), I gave out Tribal Tribute as my play at Santa Anita.  Tribal Tribute was my TOP RATED horse who ended up going off at 9/1 odds.  TT ran beautifully, but only got 2nd to my 2nd rated horse , Horizontally Speaking who ended up going off as the 2/1 fav.   Listen, how easy was this play to make.  A solid win/place wager on the overlay, Tribal Tribute and then a strong exacta with the favorite.  In this case you would actually bet a little more on the Horizontally Speaking over Tribal Tribute and a little less on the reverse.  The reason is simple, because with TT on top you get so overpaid, and with TT in the 2nd spot you got too UNDERPAID!  So to protect against getting “de-premiumed” you need to play a little more with the “challk” on top…
