Wednesday’s (8-27-2014) Power Page and KHSS for Saratoga and Del Mar are ready for download…

Monday was a truely great day for the Power Page, we had sup longshot KUNE KUNE with a STAR who ultimately paid  $31.50 to place and made a $250.00 exacta with our Top rated horse, the natural hookup…  And we finished with flurry with the last three Top Rated horses winning for a cold late PICK-3 for those of you who play that sort of play… Additionally, there were two other STAR horses that won…

So the big question is “what exactly is a STAR horse”?

The answer – “It’s a horse that I feel could be better than the number I assign it!”

Let me muse on — so let’s say I am going through my handicapping material and I have two horses who both ran about the same number, but because of some particular factor (known only to me) that one of them has a bigger upside – then that horse might get a STAR.  Now let me add this, the reason I think the horse deserves a STAR has nothing to do with the Trainer, The Jockey or any of the basic stuff you can see in there past performances.   So it’s a little bit private and proprietary and while you might want to know what give, it’s better off held “tightly” by me….  That way, the STAR horses are always available to you and not easily identified by the rest of the betting public.

What do do with STAR horses…  well you have to decide if you want to use them as a KEY or if you simply want to use it as an add-in in your exotics…  I am not touting…it’s always up to you…
